In the flip side to our previous list, these are the signs that, if you see them in your relationship, mean it's time to move on and find someone who is a better for for you.
If your partner is always talking down to you--no matter what gestures of affection they may show otherwise--that shit needs to change immediately. That's a large red flag that something is wrong in your relationship.
If you're with someone, you're bound to pick up a few of their habits. But if you find that being together only makes your bad habits worse, and doesn't improve either of you, maybe you shouldn't be around each other.
Maybe you've had your heart broken in the past and that affects how you view your current relationship. But if you never feel secure with you're partner, and you think things could fall apart any moment, that either requires a conversation, or it means something is definitely wrong.
A long term relationship means you two are playing on the same team. When one of you scores a touchdown ( gets that job you've been dying for, publishes that book, etc.) you should be happy for each other. If your partner never enjoys when you have a success, that's a sign that you need to go find someone who supports you.
Promising to call and don't? Forgot about the date you were supposed to have? If someone is always dropping the ball with things that matter to you, it's time to have a conversation. In a healthy relationship, you don't keep flaking out on your partner.
This is a big one. If you're stressed out, either from a bad day at work or something going wrong, and you think talking to your partner is just going to make your day worse, that's a sign that you need to be in a more supportive relationship. Don't be with someone who can't lift you up at all when you're down.
